VCA certification

Where work is outsourced, the VCA certificate is the standard for safe working. VCA stands for VGM (Safety, Health, Environment) Checklist Contractors. We offer the complete trajectory to VCA certification, including VCA manual and intensive support. The risk inventory and evaluation is optional.

VCA*, VCA** and VCA petrochemicals

VCA can be divided into three certifications:

  • VCA* is primarily focused on the requirements on the work floor
  • VCA** certification also has a number of organizational requirements and a number of additional questions
  • VCA petrochemicals corresponds to VCA**, with a number of additional questions being mandatory.

How does VCA certification work?

To become VCA certified, employees must follow a VCA course and your organization must meet the questions in the VCA checklist. The questions in this checklist relate to Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) and you must be able to demonstrate that your organization meets the requirements in these questions. By means of a VCA manual, you describe the safety procedures in your company to meet the VCA checklist. An independent body assesses your company and issues the VCA certificate. A certified VCA system offers your company the following advantages:

  • you also comply with the obligations under the Working Conditions Act
  • safety awareness among employees
  • better organization for working on location
  • 'in business' with clients who require VCA By following a strict step-by-step plan, we will establish a well-functioning, but very practical VCA system in your organization. Bureau Via has extensive experience in various sectors and will gladly guide you to VCA certification.
